A continental breakfast: I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast options at this bed and breakfast. They had everything from fresh pastries to a wide variety of cheeses and meats. It was like waking up to a spread fit for royalty.
Room could be larger: The only minor issue I had during my stay was that the room was a bit small. It wasn't a dealbreaker by any means, but a little extra space would have been nice.

I had the most remarkable stay at B&B L'Histoire De L'Eclair. The room I stayed in, Noisette, was beautifully decorated and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The attention to detail in the renovated old house was impressive. The breakfast served in the courtyard was not only generous but also delicious, providing me with enough energy to last until dinner. The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the city center, close to the Christmas markets and other attractions in Bruges. The hosts were exceptional, going above and beyond to make my stay memorable. I highly recommend this hotel for its impeccable service, stylish ambiance, and prime location.
The only drawback I can think of is the steep and narrow staircase leading to the bedrooms. It may be challenging for those with mobility issues or travelers with large amounts of luggage.

The Christmas decorations were lovely and the hosts provided a delicious breakfast every morning. the location was perfect, close to all the sightseeing spots and Christmas markets. the hosts were very friendly and helpful, providing us with great recommendations for places to visit and eat.
The room was a bit small and the bathroom was not ensuite, which was a bit inconvenient. the bed was not very comfortable and the Wi-Fi signal in the room was weak.

They had a lovely shared lounge with a terrace, perfect for sipping cocktails and pretending to read a book. The continental breakfast was decent, I mean, it's not like I was expecting a Michelin-starred meal.
I mean, nothing to complain about, except maybe if you're terrified of airplanes, the airport being so close might be a bit nerve-wracking. But who needs sleep, right?
